Ohio Governor DeWine and his Health Director Dr. Amy Acton have gotten a lot of attention for their cutting edge, no nonsense, yet compassionate handling of the COVID-19 crisis in Ohio. Their daily 2:00 PM press briefings has become a must-see or must-hear event.
The response has ranged from silly — “Wine with DeWine” mugs & t-shirts — to numerous accolades, and also to condemnation with noisy protests outside the Ohio Statehouse. For better or worse, depending one’s perspective, DeWine has been a leader ahead of the Federal government and most states in clamping down on the spread of Coronavirus.
This is some of the response and news coverage out there, in video and print, as well as appearances DeWine and Action have made on various broadcasts. I’ll add more as we go along.
Time for Some Fun!
