A third wave is now surging in Ohio and across the country as we enter the 9th month of these on-going press briefings by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. Given the rapidly escalating situation, DeWine has upped the tempo a bit from his usual twice-weekly schedule and is also adding new restrictions including a mandatory statewide mask order and a 21-Day Statewide Curfew commencing each evening at 10:00 PM.
Individual counties are supplementing state action with their own. In Cuyahoga County, for instance, a one-month ‘Stay at Home Advisory‘ was issued on November 18. The City of Cleveland has issued the same.
Each of DeWine’s press briefings during November are posted here, along with his public address on November 11 and various media appearances. These are posted below in chronological order from latest to earliest.
All these actions are apparently too much for President Trump who tweeted a veiled threat against DeWine on November 16. Simply being Republican doesn’t get you a free pass! You’ve got to drink the Kool-Aid too.
